Representatives from local community and non-profit organisations can register to attend free training sessions with our partners at Non Profit Training. Their live interactive training program includes a range of topics such as governance, finance, grant writing, marketing and social media, and more. Training sessions are available in person and online. Eligibility criteria apply.

Who should attend
Community organisation representatives (committee members, workers and volunteers) that have limited experience in the areas of topics offered are encouraged to attend, for example sports clubs, multicultural groups, resident groups and service organisations.

- the name and date of the training session you wish to attend, and if you wish to attend online or in person for hybrid meetings
- your full name
- contact phone number
- the email you would like to use for the training
- the organisation you represent and your position
- the suburb in which your organisation is located.
If you have any access, language interpreter, or other support requirements, please let us know when you RSVP to ensure that we can arrange any reasonable adjustments. City of Melbourne will pay up to $500 per training session for interpreter costs. The remainder of costs must be paid by the organisation the attendee represents.
