The City of Melbourne provides a range of services for older residents, residents with disabilities and their carers under the Home and Community Care program and through other state and federal government funding.
These services help older people and people with disabilities maintain healthy, active and independent lifestyles in their own home and within the community, and to prevent inappropriate admission to long-term residential care.
