The Pauline Gandel Children's Gallery at the Melbourne Museum has won the 2017 Melbourne Award for Contribution to Community by a Corporation.

Following a three-year development process involving children, adults and early childhood, health and additional needs professionals, The Pauline Gandel Children’s Gallery was officially opened in December 2016. The multi-sensory, multi-model and inclusive design inspires children of all stages and abilities to play and learn on their own, with other children, and with their carers.

The gallery introduces families to Melbourne Museum and increases the opportunities for engagement with a significant cultural organisation within the City of Melbourne.
